Overview

JST is currently seeking a Junior Recruiter to support our full cycle recruiting efforts within a fast-paced environment. As the initial and main contact throughout the hiring process, the Junior Recruiter is responsible for providing an excellent candidate experience by providing superior customer service, transparent and frequent communication. The Junior Recruiter will also use recruiting tools to manage candidates and requisitions. Teamwork is essential within our environment and thrives on knowledge sharing. Junior Recruiter Responsibilities

  • Review, edit and post job requisitions for company openings
  • Source and screen applicants for corporate and contract opportunities
  • Manage applicants and requisitions within ATS
  • Work with Senior Recruiters and hiring managers to determine strategies and best practices
  • Provide full cycle recruiting
  • Build relationships with hiring programs and attend networking events
  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Create and uphold a best-in-class candidate experience from application to onboarding, acting as the main point of contact and communication throughout the process

Junior Recruiter Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred (technical or engineering discipline preferred)
  • 1+ years' experience sourcing and screening job applicants
  • Experience managing candidates and requisitions using ATS and recruiting tools
  • Experience posting requisitions on job boards and social networks
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Must be very organized
  • Energetic, outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Professional customer service
  • Highly motivated
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Occasional overtime and travel may be required

Required Clearances and Screenings

  • MUST be able to successfully pass a drug and background check
