JST is currently seeking a Project Management SME to support our government customer in the day-to-day administration of assessment to operational units, as well as project management of operations. The Project Management SME is responsible for coordination between government agencies as well as coordinate with contract team members regarding survey administration, data collection, and reporting of assessment results.

Project Manager SME Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between principal investigator, organizations involved with the research, MAJCOM and line leadership representatives
  • Research divisions involved in the project regarding administration, retrieval, and analyses of the health stress screening data via web-based program
  • Oversee, manage, and troubleshoot all project information system needs, and ensure effective communication strategies between customers and project staff
  • Manage all web-based assessment administration across units, design and implement administration plans in coordination with line leadership, as well as address assessment maintenance issues, to include assessment modifications and unit response rates
  • Maintain project suspense dates and calendar, and keep all project members informed
  • Communicate assessment response rates and results, and troubleshoot with line staff on how to
  • improve response rates, as needed to support effective statistical analyses
  • Data management and coordinating process with project team members, which shall include acquisition, input, maintenance, electronic format products, and storage of all project data
  • Provide project operations support, including research activities, travel arrangements, and acquisition of data in support of project goals and objectives
  • Maintain a coherent budget sheet and log of project expenses that involve purchase of supplies, materials, government and contractor travel

Project Manager SME Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management (or related field) AND a Master's degree in Project Management
  • 10+ years of experience working with USAF RPA and intelligence units and leadership
  • 3+ years of experience conducting psychological screenings and survey research with RPA and other high demand USAF career fields, to include experience coordinating with multiple AF agencies (medical as well as line leadership) regarding the administration of such surveys
  • 3+ years of experience in program management working with active duty and Department of Defense (DoD) military line commanders
  • 3 years of experience working as a Major Command (MAJCOM) career field functional manager overseeing training, personnel issues, and other relevant factors related to maintaining readiness and mission capabilities
  • Completed coursework training (or equivalency) in behavioral science research
  • Research experience, including study design, technical report writing, presentations, and coordination with IRB
  • Strong knowledge of USAF RPA weapon strike and intelligence operations research at peer review national conferences, as well as authorship of peer reviewed journals and official USAF technical reports in behavioral science related to the psychological health and screening of USAF aviation and intelligence related career fields
